Policy relating to payment of fees
It is the policy of this school (NZIEBTh) that payments be made on due dates. Course related costs must also be paid on the first day of starting school. If your loan has not been processed then you need to inform the admin officer. When your loan has been confirmed and processed, you will be informed and your Course related costs must be paid within 7 days. There are payment options laid out for you to choose from and whichever you decide upon must be paid on the dates specified. In order for the school to run efficiently we appreciate accounts being paid on time. Therefore overdue payments may result in a $50.00 administration fee for extra work to collect overdue payments. International Examination Payments
Examinations are held in June and November (depending on international examiners calendar) of each year. Payments for these exams are required by the last week in April and September. As payment is required by us on registration, NO REFUNDS can be given. If you wish to open an exam payment account to spread these payments through the year, please arrange with the Admin Officer, Ann Smith.
Resits of International Exams can be arranged at an additional charge.
Refunds
Under the Education Amendment Act 1998 any student who withdraws from the course within 7 days after the 1st day of the course will receive full refund of fees paid.
If the student withdraws after 8 days the course Director reserves the right to negotiate a refund depending on the circumstances of the student withdrawing.
Student Protection Policy
In the event of the NZ Institute of Electrolysis & Beauty Therapy Ltd being unable to continue to provide training to the student due to financial
insolvency a Trust Account is in place to pay all students the unused portion of the fees for the current tuition year.
